UGIS Commencement Ceremony 2023

Wednesday, May 17, 2023
9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Zellerbach Auditorium

Students who graduated in Fall 2022 and are graduating in Spring 2023, Summer 2023, and Fall 2023 are eligible to participate in this ceremony. The deadline to sign-up and get your name in the UGIS Commencement program is Thursday, April 20, 2023. See emails sent to the Media Studies listserv and visit the UGIS Commencement website for more details, including signing-up, purchasing tickets, arrival time, etc.

Departmental commencement ceremonies are held in May. The Undergraduate and Interdisciplinary Studies (UGIS) Commencement includes students from Media Studies and other interdisciplinary majors in UGIS–American Studies and Interdisciplinary Studies Field Major (ISF).

UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, BERKELEY CAMPUS-WIDE CEREMONIES

The University campus-wide Commencement ceremony will be on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. Their registration deadline to get your name in the program is April 14th. GRADUATION

Your expected graduation term (EGT) is noted in CalCentral on your My Academics page. See Preparing for Graduation on the L&S Office of Undergraduate Advising website.

DIPLOMA

Diplomas are mailed to all graduates several months after degrees have been posted to transcripts. See Transcripts & Diplomas on the Office of the Registrar website for more information.
